"Winter clothes program"

Namasté dear sponsors of our Nepal Child Plan,

In the first week of November, QOLN organized a winter clothes and shoes distribution program for the Nepal Child Plan (NCP) sponsored kids and the Day Care Centre (DCC) kids.

Winter started early this year. From the 11th of November we suddenly had cloudy, rainy weather and the temperature dropped by 10 degrees.

At the moment we have 70 children sponsored in our Nepal Child Plan.

They all got a blue school sweaters and a pair of trousers each to keep them warm. They also got leather shoes with fitting socks and a shoe brush & polish to keep their shoes clean.

At the same time the toddlers from our DCC received sweaters and trousers too. The new school building is not yet finished, so they will need this to keep them warm.

In this year’s program, there were 106 children in total who received winter clothes from QOLN. All the kids were happy and smiling!
