Last progress of the building extension

Here is an update on the last progress of the building extension of our day care center. QOLN organized several meetings in Sarangkot, to discuss following:

1. On the 3th of May: publication of the tender notice. The tender (contractor) is the person who will take care of the building and the labor to be done. He has to give his application to give his price and time. The materials will be bought and provided by QOLN.
2. QOLN appointed the village committee member Umanath Sharma as a caretaker of the materials and to keep a record of the incoming and outgoing materials in daily basis.
3. On Sunday the 10th of May QOLN organized a meeting to open all the applications of the contractors. There were 8 candidates. The committee selected the tender with the best options and lowest price.
4. On the 16th of May another meeting will take place to make a contract with this new tender. After this the old school building will be demolished. QOLN decided to place a whole new building because the pillars of the old building wouldn’t fit correctly to the second floor. So it will be a totally new construction.
