Progress Day care centre - February 2010
Dear sponsors,
After heavy snowfall in the mountains and a whole day of rain in Pokhara, the weather is not cold anymore and it is getting hotter and hotter every day. People are already dressed in light clothes when they go out!
The new Day care centre (DCC) is almost ready. Since the last four weeks, the workers worked very hard to finish it. They plastered the floor and cemented the last rooftop. Now they are busy fixing the doors, windows and the railings all around the first and second floor. Meanwhile they will start painting and cleaning the playground.
In the beginning of February, we had to close the DCC for a week because of the dust problem and the children had to stay home. After the rain, it got better and the school is open again! The children are very happy to come back and see their new building is almost ready for them.
QOLN is very excited to make the plan to establish the new rooms. We express our gratitude to all sponsors who help us to make this happen!
